Instead of picnic though, you should try photofiltre, or both

Photofiltre is also free, it's a great program

I downloaded it and you are right, it really is nice, is there a way to add a photo on top of another one and edit them together?

Hrmmm...it's been a long while since I've used photofiltre....I don't think so :\

If I were you, I'd find Adobe Elements (I use 5.0) and use that.
It's supposed to be paid for....but I trust you can find a way around that
